Well-established in the Montreal social media calendar for the past three years, PodCamp Montreal is a two-day podcasting and new media conference which attracts more than 350 participants from Canada and the US to the city each September, and garners attention of thousands through the live video streaming of some of its conferences.
A bilingual event
The only bilingual PodCamp in America offers a combination of sessions in French or English. With three different tracks, whether you speak only one language or another, you will always be able to participate to at least one session.
Montreal being a bilingual city, a lot of participants will be able to understand and help you, so don’t hesitate to talk to anyone.
A dream team
The organizing committee includes some of Montreal’s top podcasting and social media specialists, including Sylvain Grand’Maison, Laurent LaSalle, Laurent Maisonnave, Michelle Sullivan, Jean-François Blais, Harold Boeck, Bob Goyetche and Julien Smith.
PodCamp Montreal is a not-for-profit event. Our goal is to connect people and help further promote and develop social media expertise in Montreal.
PodCamp Montreal is based on a model which has been successfully implemented in cities such as Toronto, Boston, New York, Chicago, Berlin and Perth. Past PodCamp Montreal events have been made possible thanks to the support of sponsors such as Canoe, Radio-Canada, Molson, Rogers and Fairmont Hotels.
PodCamp Montreal 2010 participants will include new media enthusiasts and professionals specializing in blogging, podcasting, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and social networking.
